Classmates, faculty and parents wandered between the exhibits and demonstrations which were prepared and explained by the participants. Students from grades 9-12 competed against one another in two different categories, Invention Convention and Science Experiment. Students had the option to participate in either event of their choice. If a student selected the Invention Convention they had to submit a working prototype of their invention for judging and students competing in the experiment section of the event had to have their apparatus and display their results from the data they had collected.
